We're gradually being discovered by more Schmitt descendants, and I can't say how gratifying it is to hear from you and to hear how the site has help advance your own research.
One way to "give back" is to become a member. While you'll hopefully be moved to contribute a story or picture, even if you don't, your membership helps validate the site by showing that others are interested too. All it takes is an email address and password, or a Facebook or Google account.
Membership allows you to comment on blog posts, create forum posts, and access any members-only forum categories or website pages. And we do not share your email address or use it to send you marketing!
